Hey Yo

...but maybe you're looking out for your interests just a little bit more. I mean you shouldn't be asking people to come down here and pay the freight on something they paid, it still ain't good enough, I mean you think that's right? I mean maybe you're doing your job but why you gotta stop me from doing mine? Cause if you're willing to go through all the battling you got to go through to get where you want to get, who's got the right to stop you? I mean maybe some of you guys got something you never finished, something you really want to do, something you never said to someone, something... and you're told no, even after you paid your dues? Who's got the right to tell you that, who? Nobody! It's your right to listen to your gut, it ain't nobody's right to say no after you earned the right to be where you want to be and do what you want to do!... You know, the older I get the more things I gotta leave behind, that's life. The only thing I'm asking you guys to leave on the table... is what's right.

Rocky...

It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me or nobody is going to hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit, it is about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much can you take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!

I heart Rocky...

Fitness...

At the start of the year one of my goals was to get in better shape and workout. So im just leaving myself a note that even though it has only been nine days, I have managed to find time to workout everyday so far, and I am starting to feel better.

CrackDown

Crackdown pushes the action-driving hybrid genre into the next generation with the introduction of the first-ever truly 3-dimensional persistent playground, highly innovative co-op gameplay and an extensive prop interaction system all while taking place in a massive and highly-stylized urban center. Players are called to unleash explosive judicial oppression on the most powerful, organized crime syndicates in existence. Restitution is the only goal. Players must crackdown on crime, decipher the organization of the gangs, and eliminate the kingpins. All strategies and tactics are acceptable provided players clean up the streets. See the official website here...

Halo 3 News

Last week, Microsoft debuted a new Halo 3 trailer on ESPN’s Monday Night Football. At the same time, halo3.com launched, allowing gamers to sign up for a chance to be part of the Halo 3 multiplayer demo next spring.

Today, Microsoft revealed that more than 140,000 people signed up for the North American beta within the first 24 hours. During that period, halo3.com was bogged down with requests and for many the sign-up page would not load. Registration is still open to the public. To participate in the beta, you need an Xbox 360 with hard drive, an Xbox Live Gold account and a Microsoft.NET Passport account linked to your gamertag.

Microsoft and Bungie have other methods planned to allow gamers to get into the public beta. Those methods are expected to be announced soon.

Visit the Halo 3 website to sign up for the beta here...

Oldest person Dies

From the Associated Press, Elizabeth Bolden, recognized as the world’s oldest person, died early Monday. She was 116. Bolden was born August 15, 1890, according to the Gerontology Research Group, a Los Angeles-based organization that tracks the ages of the world’s oldest people. Guinness World Records recognized Bolden as the oldest person in August after the death of Maria Ester de Capovilla of Ecuador, who previously was listed as the oldest. Family members said Bolden had 40 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren, 150 great-great-grandchildren, 220 great-great-great grandchildren and 75 great-great-great-great grandchildren. Now, if only she had a living will.

Emergence Day!

Viva Pinata will be released on the 12th of November - the same day as Gears of War. These two games are going to sell huge amounts of copies - and the hype caused by the same-day release will be great for Microsoft. They will have practically all demographics buying their games on this single Emergence Day!

Free Beer Rebates

Well apparently if you live in one of these states... AL, AL, CT, DE, GA, HI, IN, KY, MD, ME, MI, MO, MT, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, SO, TX, VA, or WV. You can receive beer rebate promotions for free.

Theire is a clause for certain states that no beer purchase is required. You can receive such things as a variety of food including steak, seafood, turkey, stuffing, gravy, cranberries, potatoes, deli items, pies and many other things. I am talking about these little rebates offered at various times of the year from beer companies. So keep a lookout for such offers and know that if you live in one of those states you do not have to purchase the beer to get the rebates...

First tradings...

I went with firstrade to trade stocks with the other week. I was also choosing between etrade and scottrade. I chose firstrade over those because scottrade does not have electronic funding and I just like the conveinence of doing it all online and not paying for wired transfers. I didn't choose etrade because it charges 40 dollars in maintence fees every quarter if you don't meet certain requirements.

Firstrade is $6.95 a trade and thats basically it, so far so good I haven't run across any problems yet...

I have aquired two stocks already and when I get more money I will continue to grow my investing money. Right now if my stocks do reach a certain point I will sell and take my profit. I believe I made good choices so far. Right now I can afford to take some big chances so we shall see if I can't get my foot planted in pretty well...

ING Direct Savings Account...

I have a ING Direct savings account since the first of the year. I have seen examples of other savings accounts from banks yet I seem to be fond of this one.

Ever since the start of the year the APY has continued to rise. Now it is currently at 4.25% APY and seems to continue to rise every other month or so. Now I know it doesn't offer the highest rate at this time, I really do enjoy having a savings account with them. I like the web interface and it was very simple and easy to open my savings account I would reccommend ING Direct.

They currently offer a refer program if you open a account with the link you receive from me with atleast 250 dollars you will receive $25 dollars for free, with me earning $10 so if you are interested please contact me via email at trumayhem@gmail.com and I will send you the link to sign up.

Check it out here then email me if you want to sign up...

Everything Has A Beginning...

Well I thought I would start this blog to help kick start some interest of mine. Plus it will help me keep track of things I want to remember in the whole money world. Also allowing me to set goals and have some process to help me keep them along the way. Also hopefully with some of the few people who happen to come across this site can help with ideas and offer me some tips and suggestions.

Im currently in the process of gathering information about online brokers. I have yet to start a account with anyone and I am in the process of finding the right one for me. So I will probaly be focusing on that for the start of this.

I already have a checking account and I have established a savings account with ING. So accessible money and short term and mid-term savings have been started. Now its time to get long term savings started. My goal is to start a brokerage account before the end of this month. So with that said and this the beginning of my online finance journal I bid you good day.
